Rick Warren Seeks Prayers for Daughter-In-Law

Saddleback Church pastor Rick Warren e-mailed his congregation Sunday, asking for prayers for his daughter-in-law, who is tenuously recovering from multiple brain surgeries last week.

Jaime Warren, who is married to the megachurch pastor’s son, Josh, realized that she had life-threatening brain tumors after she checked into the hospital Oct. 11 after having vision trouble.

Anne Krumm, Rick Warren’s personal assistant at Saddleback, told reporters that Jaime Warren is doing as well as can be expected. She has endured a trying 2008, giving birth in August to her son, Cole, five weeks prematurely.

Pastor Warren did not preach Sunday.
